Online Healthcare Provider RE-Certification

The American Heart Association is offering the Healthcare Provider Re-Certification course online. This online course provides a review for healthcare professionals who have prior CPR training. This program recognizes that healthcare professionals have knowledge and skills acquired from prior CPR training and years of patient care.

This program is NOT intended for people that have never taken a Healthcare Provider course in the past.

Once you have completed the online certification segment, a student skills evaluation is required. This final segment is solely for the purpose of demonstrating your ability to perform the necessary manikin skills. Please note you will not be taught how to perform these skills. The skills check-off takes place at The Colorado CPR Association - 7550 W. Yale Ave #A-220, and can be scheduled during weekly business hours. Generally, the skills check-off takes 30 minutes to complete. This portion of the course requires payment of $40 prior to your scheduled check off date. If you are unable to pass the skills portion your money will not be refunded or applied to a class. If you do not pass you must then attend a certification course at an additional charge. If you do not show at your scheduled time and do not call at least 24 hours in advance there will be no refund given. Please note Instructors are hired on an as needed basis and are not regularly scheduled employees. Manikins are available for unsupervised practice for up to 30 minutes prior to your scheduled check off time.

The online portion of the course can be taken at www.onlinetrainingplace.com. For further information about taking the test online and scheduling for a skills check-off please contact our office at 303-980-1015.

If you have already taken the online test and need only to complete the skills check-off, we encourage you to contact our office to schedule an appointment at your earliest convenience.
