BLS for Healthcare Providers

The BLS for Healthcare Providers Course covers core material such as adult and pediatric CPR (including two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag mask), foreign-body airway obstruction, and automated external defibrillation.

This course is intended for students involved in any healthcare profession including but not limited to physicians, nurses, paramedics, EMTs, respiratory therapists, physical and occupational therapists, physician assistants, residents, medical or nursing students in training, aids, medical or nersing assistants and other allied health personnel, who are seeking first-time or certificate renewal training.

The content of this course includes the following for adult, child and infant patients:
• Rescue breathing
• CPR/AED – 1 and 2 Rescuer(s)
• Relief of choking
• Bag mask use

Upon successful completion of this course you will receive your American Heart Association BLS card before leaving class, this is a two year certification.
