The BLS for Healthcare Providers Course covers core material such as adult and pediatric CPR (including two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag mask), foreign-body airway obstruction, and automated external defibrillation. Upon successful completion of this course you will receive your American Heart Association card before leaving class. This is a two year certification.

This course is designed for students with a CURRENT Healthcare Provider card. You will be required to show proof of this card at the time of your scheduled course. If you cannot show proof of this requirement you will be asked to re-schedule to a certification course. Upon successful completion of this course you will receive your American Heart Association card before leaving class. This is a two year certification.

This option is for students who have completed an online training course through the American Heart Association. You can view a list of available online training programs by visiting www.onlineaha.org. We strongly recommend this option only for students who have completed a course in the past. Once you have completed Part 1 of the online course you will need to schedule a skills check off that is completed in approximately 30 – 40 minutes. You can call our office at 303-980-1015 to schedule your check off during the hours of Monday – Thursday 8:30 – 4:00 and Friday 8:30 – 1:00. Upon successful completion of the skills check off you will receive your American Heart Association card before leaving. This is a two year certification.

The Heartsaver First Aid Course teaches how to manage illness and injuries in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Course content includes: General Principles, Medical Emergencies, Injury Emergencies, and Environmental Emergencies. You will also learn CPR for all age groups and the use of the AED. The book fee is included in the price of the course. Upon successful completion of this course you will receive your American Heart Association card before leaving class. This is a two year certification.

This is a two year certification.

The American Heart Association Instructor Course teaches the methods needed to effectively instruct others in CPR/AED and First Aid Courses. Upon successful completion of this course you will receive your American Heart Association Instructor card along with a Healthcare Provider card before leaving class. These are both a two year certification card. Please note there are pre-requisites for this course. These will be listed on the following page.

This course is designed for CURRENT Instructors who have not yet expired. You must renew your Instructor card before the end of the month in which it expires. Upon successful completion of this course you will receive your American Heart Association Instructor card along with a Healthcare Provider card before leaving class. These are both a two year certification card.

ACLS Certification
Healthcare Providers will enhance their skills in the treatment of the adult victim of a cardiac arrest or other cardiopulmonary emergencies. ACLS emphasizes the importance of basic life support CPR to patient survival. A current BLS card is required to attend this course. Please call with questions regarding ACLS Class information. **Please Note: The 30 day grace period is no longer valid. You have until the end of the month that your card was issued to re-certify in this class. After the end of that month, your card is no longer valid and you are not eligible for re-certification.
